The system of treatment by Bio-Chemic Medicines has created a new era in the Medical World since its inception, similarly.
The college authority had noble contemplation to have a separate entity of the college of its own since its inception, and with this end in view, the teaching staff sacrificed a lot of amounts by accepting only a negligible amount of remuneration. In the year of 1986 a plot of land of 6 Kathas was purchased at Prafullanagar beside the Jessore Road, very adjacent to Railway Gate No. 2, on the strength of accumulated fund, financial assistance made by the students from their tuition fees and also some public donation. The lay out of the foundation stone was celebrated by Prof. Pranab Bhattacharjee. Chairman, Habra Municipality, on 2nd May 1989 There after the construction work has-been continuing and by the grace of almighty God, the floor of the college building was partly completed. The solemnisation of the opening of the college was accomplished by Mr. Nandadulal Bhattacharjee, Shabhadipati, North 24 Parganas on 17th Feb, 1991. The class works of the college have been going on here thereafter. The college authority had tried their level best to complete the construction work of the 2nd floor, where the practical and Laboratory works of the students are going on
Now the College is affiliated by Bio-Chemic Education Grant Commission Govt of India (BEGC - Govt of India) and “B.K. KAR ALLIED HEALTH INSTITUTION” is affiliated by BHARAT SEVAK SAMAJ (BSS)

The Birth of Biochemistry: Key Milestones
Biochemistry has its birth in 1832, when the following brief statement was written in Stapf's Archiv, "All the essential component parts of the human body are great remedies." Another record was made in the same journal in 1846: "All constituents of the human body act on such organs principally where they have a function." At a later period, Grauvogl, in his Text-book, took some notice of those remarks.
WHAT IS BIOCHEMISTRY?
The word biochemistry is derived from a Greek word--bios (meaning life)-and chemistry; therefore, its true meaning is the chemistry of life. But usage has given the word a different signification, and the following has been given as a more accurate definition: "That branch of science which treats of the composition of animal and vegetable matter; the process by which the various fluids and tissues are formed; the nature, cause, and correction of the abnormal condition called disease.".
